RBC Jumps and Bumps -- Ages 6 - 12
This is Canadian Freestyle Ski's grassroots developmental program. It is our entry level program designed to introduce FUNdamental freestyle skiing skills. The program offers instruction by certified NCCP Coaches.
Program Objectives:
1. To provide young skiers with a FUN and challenging introduction to the FUNdamental skills of skiing and each of the disciplines of Freestyle;
2. To instill in young skiers an appreciation of the techniques of safe, enjoyable Freestyle skiing;
3. To measure skill development and reward the achievement of participants.
Minimum requirements for entry into our Jumps and Bumps program:
-be able to load and ride chairlift unassisted
-previously have skied at a mountain resort - even if just the weekend prior to program start
-be able to make small, medium and long round turns on blue runs
-be able to match skis (i.e. not remain in a snow plow) on a green run
Training details
Snow Training:
14 weeks Saturday 9am-3pm; Lunch (not supervised) 11:30am-12:30pm.
Late November – Early March
Sunshine Village
Optional COP training Thursday 7-9pm (Jan-Mar)
Other Training
Opportunities for trampoline training (see other programs), dryland, fitness testing and sport psychology workshops. Trampoline is offered regularly, other activities are announced as they are developed.

Program Fees
FULL PROGRAM - $750 - 14 Saturdays @ Sunshine Village (Includes $100 SAFSC membership fee)
HALF PROGRAM - $400 - First 7 Saturdays @ Sunshine Village (Includes $100 SAFSC membership fee)
COP THURSDAY ADD-ON - $200 - 10 Thursday Night Sessions at COP starting in January (Full Program only)
Please note: Program costs do not include CFSA/AFSA Fees, camp fees, trampoline fees, competition fees, jackets and Ski Passes.
