 Trampoline Training

SAFSC offers trampoline programs for all groups. Trampoline training is an essential part of freestyle training, giving athletes comfort and technique for aerial maneuvers in the safety of a gym atmosphere. Trampoline sessions are held at the Calgary Gymnastics Centre, located at COP

Beginner trampoline is for those athletes with little or no trampoline experience. The focus is on developing basic trampoline skills, with an introduction to beginner aerial maneuvers. These athletes typically are registered in Jumps and Bumps and new to Intro to Comp.

Intermediate trampoline is for those athletes with some trampoline experience. They will have already learned the basic trampoline skills and have started working on aerial maneuvers, such as 360 and flipping. This group is for some of our experienced Jumps and Bumps, Intro D, and Intro to Comp athletes.

Advanced trampoline is for those athletes with extensive trampoline training, working on the more advanced maneuvers, such as 1080s, mistys, corks, lincolns etc. This group is typically  omprised of our Comp athletes.   At this advanced level, twice weekly training is considered the minimum standard during the off season.  Advanced Intro athletes may be considered for this group.
